How Dental Claim Desk, managed by Lumora Healthcare LLP, collects, uses and protects personal information.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains how Lumora Healthcare LLP, trading as Lumora Healthcare Services, which manages Dental Claim Desk (“we”, “us”), handles personal information collected through this website and through our business communications. It is written to meet our obligations under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applies to visitors from any country.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, practice name, email address, phone number and the content of your message when you contact us by email or phone. Our contact form does not send data to our servers. It opens your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send.
- Client business information: billing contacts, agreements, invoices and payment records for practices that engage our services.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit for security and to keep the site running. Fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
2. Patient health information
Please do not send patient health information through this website or in an initial enquiry. Protected health information that we process for client practices is processed on the practice’s behalf under our service agreement, including any Business Associate Agreement required under HIPAA. That information is governed by those agreements, not by this policy.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and arrange a billing review or discovery call.
- To provide, manage and invoice our services.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. If we send occasional updates about our services, you can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.
4. Basis for processing
We process personal information with your consent (for example, when you contact us), to perform a contract with you or your practice, to comply with legal obligations, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Doing so does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal information only:
- with service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting, accounting and payment providers, who must keep it confidential and use it only on our instructions;
- when required by law, regulation or a valid legal request;
- as part of a merger, restructuring or sale of our business, subject to confidentiality;
- with your consent.
6. International transfers
We operate from India and serve clients in the United States. Your information may be processed in India, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including for the length of a client relationship and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. We periodically review and delete enquiries that do not lead to an engagement.
8. Security
We use reasonable security practices to protect personal information, including limited access, access controls and secure systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent;
- have a grievance addressed by us;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
Residents of some U.S. states may have similar rights under state law. To exercise any right, email us at info@dentalclaimdesk.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
